Endless Eclipse - Dread Lord Goloch

Состав рейда:
Танки: 3 танка
Хилы: 4 хила (2 Chloros, 1 Defiler, 1 Warden)
Саппорты: бард и архонт
ДПС: 11 дпс, желательно 1-2 человка с пуржем


Способности:

Gatekeepers Curse – 2 секунды каст. 3 человека получают 2 стака дебаффа, необходимо диспелить.
End of Days – 2 секунды каст. Босс получает 8 стаков баффа с аналогичным именем, необходимо пуржить.
Unspeakable Anguish – 6 секунд каст. Красные сферки будут появляться на поле боя в рендомных позициях. Наносят урон всем кто стоял внутри них, необходимо избегать.
Glimpse of Morality – Stuns 3 players then after 3 seconds they start to do a massive amount of AOE. It’s best to have 3 people stand at range and take this and the rest in melee. If you don’t have 3 people standing at ranged – it will select 3 random people in melee and is much harder to predict. After the explosion a yellow circle will spawn around one of the players and 3 non-stunned players need to run into the yellow circle otherwise the player will die.
Baneful Smash – 4 Second Cast, very similar to the first boss in Empyrean Core (baird). He will send out two triangular AOE’s that cover 50% of the room – players need to be up close to the boss as it comes out as a triangle with Goloch being the pinacle. Makes it much easier to dodge closer to the boss than further away. Don’t get too close to the boss though – as if you’re inside the red bubble that surrounds him then you’ll die.
Ghost - There is a clickable onject in front of the Gate in the very back of the room. There should be two players assigned who rotate between them and click when it’s available. The purpose of the Ghost running to the raid is your damage output is significantly decreased until you stand in the aura that the Ghost produces.
Soul Sever (sub 55%) – 3 second cast which summons a scythe (like the last (or second..) boss in Exodus of the Storm Queen) which spins around the room doing cleave damage to everything in its path. It’s healable but you want to avoid it when possible.
Dread Scythe – Tank swap debuff that Dread Lord Goloch applies. Applies very quickly, and needs to be swapped at 3.


Strategy:
There’s a lot of abilities up there. I bet it kind of sounds hard.. but it really isn’t. Let’s start with what the tanks have to worry about:
Stack in front of the boss, and ensure the 3 tanks already have a set tank-swap order.
Avoid Baneful Smash (very long cast.. very easy to avoid)
Purge if you can.

In terms of what the raid has to do – if you read the ability’s above – it’s pretty basic. The raid stacks behind the boss unless they’re an assigned stand-at-range person or Ghost clicker. The main thing to pay attention as a DPS is purges need to happen – and they need to happen fast. The raid needs to avoid Baneful Smash (again, like Baird from Empyrean Core.. simple) and move out of the Unspeakable Anguish (red bubbles).

The only “hard” part is dealing with the Glimpse of Morality:

The best way to setup the ranged stack group is to have 3 people at range with different numbers on their head. Each one of these people should be in their own group. What this does – is if person 2 is in group 2, they can call out saying “Group 2 stack”, then group 2 will run to the #2 in order to break the person out of their Glimpse of Mortality. If #1 in group one calls for group 1, group 1 runs to #2 and breaks them out. Very easy.

It’s extremely important to ensure that you’re always within melee range if you have to stack out to break someone out, or move out of the way of something. If you’re not in melee there’s a chance that you could have Glimpse of Morality cast on you which may throw a wrench into things. This might give you a better idea about raid positioning:

Note: I’ve been made aware that if your group stacks tightly – you can have just one person stack out, and thus only one group needed to run to that particular raid member to cleanse the debuff that kills them. I have tested this strat and can verify it works. This should decrease the level of difficulty a fair amount.
